L’Hermitage Hotel & Spa Set in a former monastery dating from the 16th century, this hotel and spa provides the ideal place to relax in a tranquil, rural setting. Located in northern Majorca, L’Hermitage is surrounded by extensive olive groves and other aromatic plants. These peaceful surroundings complement the relaxing spa treatments available, which include aromatherapy, massage and facials. You can also make use of luxury facilities such as the outdoor swimming pool, sauna and 2 tennis courts at this rural oasis. Rooms are decorated in a traditional Majorcan style. They boast features which can include fireplaces, antique furniture, terraces and direct access to the gardens and the convent tower. Certain rooms also enjoy spectacular views over the mountains of Alfabia.

The restaurant of L'Hermitage has the privilege of being located within a beautiful, converted oil mill. Where years ago the oil used to be pressed, guests can now sit back and be wined and dined with our exquisite dishes and international cuisine. If you wish to enjoy the fresh air and the countryside you may also have your meal out on the patio which overlooks spectacular stone arches and the tower which in bygone days was used as a water tower. Enjoy the tastes and aromas of a magical candlelit evening and a service second to none.

Area information

The valley, which nowadays has hardly any population, is protected by the Alfabia Mountain that stands at an altitude of 1100 metres and the Puig d'es Moix mountain range 750 metres high. It is in these mountains where the Cuber reservoir is situated well-known for its lush vegetation.

Travel information

Leaving the airport heading towards Palma, take the exit indicating "Via Cintura - Andratx". Stay on the ring road until you see the exit indicating "Inca - Port D'alcudia" and take this exit. Stay on the motorway until you see the exit "Consell - Binissalem- Alaró" and take this exit. Follow the signs to Alaró until you get to the village where you will see the signposts to Orient. The hotel L'Hermitage is about 1km before the village of Orient, on the right hand side. Palma - Orient: 35 Km.(30 minutes) Airport - Orient: 40 Km.(35 minutes)
