Melia Palas Atenea This grand hotel features a spa centre, an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace with views of the sea and the Bay of Palma. Each air-conditioned room has a balcony. Rooms at the Melia Palas Atenea come with a king-size bed with pillow menu, interactive flat-screen satellite TV and heating. Melia Atenea’s 950m² Yhi spa includes contrast showers, a sauna, a dynamic pool with jacuzzi and a Turkish bath. All guests have free access to the well-equipped fitness centre. Other spa facilities incur an additional cost. The Palas Atenea is located on the seafront promenade, just 500 metres from Palma de Mallorca’s 14th-century Bellver Castle. Palma Cathedral is only 1.5 km away. There are many restaurants and clubs in the local area. Mediterranean and international cuisine is served at the El Laurel restaurant. There is also a café, a lobby bar, and a pool bar in summer.
